Vikki Johnson

Vikki JohnsonVikki began her career more than 20 years ago with Bay Area developer Douglas Stitzel. She built a reputation as the leading landlord representative for San Francisco’s Union Square District based on her involvement in the first multi-level retail projects in the area, One Union Square and Union Square 100. More recently, she negotiated such transactions as H&M’s first West Coast store and the new Barney’s and DeBeers flagship stores.

Vikki has put her stamp on Los Angeles’ retail market as well, including high-end destinations such as One and Two Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and One Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, one of Southern California ’s first and most successful revitalization and redevelopment projects.

“Johnson Hoke is all about putting together the best deals for our clients, from the financial structure to the intricacies of the leases to the tenant mix. From the day we’re engaged, we’re focused on maximizing their NOI.”

Karen Hoke

Karen HokeKaren Hoke’s resume is a virtual map of retailing hot spots from Madison Avenue and SOHO to Union Square and SOMA. Her reputation for perseverance, follow-through and caring about a project’s success has earned her the respect and admiration of tenants and property owners alike.

In 1997 Karen relocated from New York to San Francisco to co-found Johnson Hoke Ltd. with Vikki Johnson. Karen “brings to the table” a passion for fine dining, and excels at finding and negotiating leases for chic restaurants and innovative food concepts – essential ingredients to the success of high-end retail properties in a sophisticated “foodie town” like San Francisco.

“There is nothing more exciting than seeing a neighborhood begin to flourish and grow. It reminds you that the city is really a living thing, and that the energy and passion of entrepreneurs and innovators can be completely contagious.”
